Cannot wait to hear all about your Outback travels …. happy trails! What has the weather been like for you guys? We have a stellar week here at home (20 C plus) but the long weekend ahead isn’t looking so rosy.

Hi Marlene. The weather has been nice. Not too warm but it gets cool at night. This morning it was +5 so Robbie turned on the heater first thing in the morning. It is now a lovely +22. Hope all is well with you guys. See you in a weeks or so.

Are you climing Ayer’s Rock? Don’t let Bruce get eaten by dingos!! Bet the water you are around is not like Long Lake – Polar Plunge on Sat. I will be by the bbq staying warm and dry! Can’t wait to see more. Have a wonderful time!

Hi Barb. We couldn’t climb the Rock as it was too windy. We still enjoyed our time there. I just posted some more photos on the blog. Hope you enjoy them. See you soon.

Hi Cheryl. Yes we are having a blast. You & Ray could do a big trip like this now that you are enjoying retirement. We met tons of folks who were doing nothing but travelling the outback during retirement. There was one couple who were heading to an area where they would not have food, water or civilization for 7 days. They had to come back to Coober Pedy because they had truck trouble. The rest of their group carried on. Lots of adventure to be had!!!! See you when we get back. Cheers mate!
