Rainy & a bit windy today but that didn’t stop us. We spent most of the day at the Sydney Opera House. The bridge is quite close to the Opera House so we were able to get some pictures of that too. We will walk to the top of the bridge at some point this week. The Opera House is an amazing building both visually & structurally. It took 16 years to complete (opened in 1973) at a cost of $102 million. It was paid off in 1975 thanks to the folks who did the gambling in those 2 years. Over 9 million people per year visit the Opera House whether it is for tours or performances. Bruce & I walked back to the hotel…uphill….from the Opera House. Now Bruce is recovering with rest & Advil. Enjoy the pictures.
